Ninth annual KiteFest to be held on Brick Beach

The Brick Municipal Alliance Committee on Alcoholism, Drug Abuse and Youth Services (B-MAC) will host the 9th Annual KiteFest on Sept. 20 at Brick Beach III, Route 35 North. This free event is open to all residents of Brick Township and features kite assembly, kite flying and entertainment. Registration begins at noon, kite building, decorating and flying follows from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

A limited amount of free kite kits will be provided by B-MAC, or families can bring their own. Advanced registration is required by calling 732-262-1088 through September 18.. Registrants are asked to leave their names, phone numbers, number of adults and number of children who will be attending, and how many kites they will need. The rain date for KiteFest is Sunday, September 21.
