Margaret A. Cokas

Mrs. Cokas, 56, of Brick, died Sept. 19, 2008, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in South Amboy, she lived most of her life in the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge prior to moving to Brick 15 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Adam Cokas, her father, Victor A. Van Exter and her stepfather, Eugene Kenney. Surviving are two sons, Thomas Isemann and Victor Cokas, both of Brick; her mother, Helen Bell Van Exter Kenney of Cliffwood Beach; a brother, Peter Van Exter of Cliffwood Beach; and two sisters, Emmy Moore and Katrina Clapsis, both of Freehold. A memorial service was held at the Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Cremation was private.
