      Memorial presses forward in playoffs
      Mustangs defeat N. Bruns; will face South Brunswick this weekend
            Can Brick Memorial beat up the Brunswicks? That will be answered on Friday night when the Mustang football team heads back to that vicinity of Middlesex County to take on South Brunswick in a 7 pm. kickoff in the NJSIAA Group IV, Central Jersey playoff semifinals after vanquishing North Brunswick, 10-7, in the opening round on Friday night.

      Youth teams earn trips to Disney World
            It was a weekend of celebration and elation for five cheer and dance teams in Brick Township who earned a trip to Walt Disneyworld in Florida for the national finals. And it was a close call for the Brick Dragons Midget football team, which lost in the region quarterfinals to the East Brunswick/Spotswood Golden Bear Chargers, 14-0, on Sunday night in Brick.
