Philip L. DeFrancisco Jr.

Mr. DeFrancisco, 64, of Freehold, died Nov. 9, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He worked as a journeyman for 35 years, retiring from The New York Times in 2000. Surviving are his companion, Gale Staneck; a son, Matthew of Metuchen; a stepson, Christian of Atlanta; a brother, Charles of North Carolina; a sister, Marieanne DeFrancisco of Brick; a granddaughter, and two nephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
