George Bakos Mr. Bakos, 80, of Lady Lake, Fla., died Nov. 30, 2008, at home. He was a warehouseman and manager at Middletown Plumbing and Heating for 49 years, retiring in 1993. He resided in Middletown for 50 years, prior to relocating to Lady Lake, Fla., 15 years ago. He was predeceased by his first wife, Doris M. Bakos, in 1962; a sister, Mary Bakos; and a brother, John Bakos. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marion White Bakos of Lady Lake; two sons and one daughter in-law, George J. Bakos of Long Branch, and William and Diane Bakos of Bricktown; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lynn Bakos of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, and Gail and Lester Long of Red Bank; four stepsons, Edward Marsh of Oceanport, Richard Marsh and William Marsh, both of Bricktown, and Christopher Marsh of Middletown; a brother, Edward Bakos of Whiting; two sisters, Elsie Bakos of Whiting and Eleanor Turcsik of Union; a granddaughter; two great-grandsons; and 13 stepgrandchildren. A funeral service will be Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
