      The Brick Youth Club will host a free dinner and movie Dec. 12 at the Brick Township Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road. The evening will begin with a spaghetti dinner and will be followed by the 1947 movie "Miracle on 34th Street" starring Maureen O'Hara and Natalie Wood. Doors open at 4 p.m.

Hockey Club to host learn-to-skate clinic
      The Brick Hockey Club is conducting a learn-to-play ice hockey program on Saturdays from 5:10 to 6:10 p.m. through Feb. 14 at the Ocean Ice Palace, 197 Chambers Bridge Road. Learning to play ice hockey teaches the foundation of skating and introduces skill development and techniques. No previous skating experience is needed.

Marching Dragons to hold craft fair Dec. 13
      The Brick Township High School Marching Dragon Caravan will host its 29th annual juried holiday craft fair 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 13 at Brick Township High School, 346 Chambers Bridge Road. Over 100 crafters will display handcrafted items. There will be a bicycle auction, a bake table, gift basket raffles, a 50/50 and a silent auction. Admission is free.

Dottie's House receives $20,000 grant
      Dottie's House, Brick, was chosen to receive one of 150 grants awarded by a leading anti-domestic violence organization, the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation (MKACF). The $20,000 grant will be used to provide services to the residents of Dottie's House through a training program which helps the women gain emotional and financial independence.
