The Rutgers football team returned to spring practice yesterday after a week hiatus due to spring break. Spring practice is also scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday along with Rutgers' Pro Combine for NFLScouts this afternoon.

The pro combine will be held in the Hale Center weight room and the Indoor Practice Bubble. Thirteen former Scarlet Knights, including NFLCombine participants Ray Rice, Jeremy Zuttah and Pedro Sosa, will take part. The players will go through a variety of drills, including the 40-yard dash, 225-pound bench press, broad jump, vertical jump, three-cone drill, flexibility tests and individual position testing.

The Monmouth University women's golf team finished in 20th place at the FirstMarket Bank Intercollegiate, hosted by the College ofWilliam and Mary on Sunday afternoon. The Hawks, who carded a 717, were led by senior Rylee Plitz, who registered a 166.

Marshall and James Madison each finished the two-day event at 56-over par (632), and in the team playoff, Whitney Wolejko's birdie on the second playoff hole gave the trophy to the Thundering Herd. Bradley's Bari-Lynn Erais won the individual medal with a 36-hole score of 146 (+2), at the par- 72, 6,063 yardMarshHawkCourse at Ford's Colony Country Club.

Plitz finished in a tie for 52nd place overall after her back-to-back rounds of 83, while Brigid Cahill was Monmouth's next finisher, recording a 177 (85-92). Julia Drygas (184), Lisa Rastede (191) and Vanessa Toscano (198) rounded out the team score for the Hawks, while Kelly Reilly carded a 197 (95-102) as an individual player.

Monmouth returns to action this weekend, when the Blue and White host the Third Annual Hawk Invitational, a threeday event, at Eagle Ridge Country Club in Lakewood.
