BMAC to hold dances, movies and more

The Brick Municipal Alliance Committee (BMAC) will hold the following upcoming events:

• Aug. 8, Brick Youth Club sixth-eighth grade dance (from the 2007-2008 school year)

• Aug. 22, free family movie night, "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert"

• Sept. 5, free family movie night, "Nims Island"

• Sept. 12, Brick Youth Club sixtheighth grade dance

• Sept. 19, free family movie night, the original "Jungle Book"

• Sept. 20, Kite Fest at Brick Beach III, noon registration; 1 p.m. kite flying on the beach; (rain date Sept. 21)

• Sept. 26, Brick Youth Club sixtheighth grade dance

Movies and dances are held at the Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road. Events are free, but advance registration is required. Call 732-262-1074.
