Church of Visitation to offer soup kitchen
      Church of the Visitation, 755 Mantoloking Road, Brick, will be offering a soup kitchen at noon in the church auditorium on the third Wednesday of every month. All are welcome. There is no charge.

Christmas tours of museum to be offered
      The Brick Township Historical Society is planning an old-fashioned country theme for this year's Christmas tours of its Havens Homestead Museum, located at 521 Herbertsville Road, Brick. The tours will be offered 6-9 p.m. Dec. 12 and noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 14.

Library hours to change for holiday
      All branches of the Ocean County Library will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday and will resume normal branch hours Dec. 26. All branches will close 5 p.m. Dec. 31 and will remain closed Jan. 1 in observance of New Year's Day.

Free dinner, movie for Brick seniors Dec. 12
      The Brick Youth Club will host a free dinner and movie Dec. 12 at the Brick Township Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road. The evening will begin with a spaghetti dinner and will be followed by the 1947 movie "Miracle on 34th Street" starring Maureen O'Hara and Natalie Wood. Doors open at 4 p.m.
