Dottie's House to hold gala Feb. 5

Friends of Dottie's House will host its second annual "Have a Heart for Dottie's House" gala at the Spring Lake Manor, Spring Lake Heights, at 6 p.m. Feb. 5. This year's gala will honor John K. Lloyd, FACHE, president and chief executive officer of Meridian Health.

Dottie's House, a 17-unit apartment facility confidentially located in Ocean County, provides transitional housing for women and children who have survived domestic violence through a program empowering them to become emotionally and financially independent.

Tickets are $125 per person and include an open bar, hors d'oeuvres and dinner. The event will also feature a silent auction. There are various sponsorship and advertising opportunities available.
