Owen L. Henry Mr. Henry, 79, of Brick, died Feb. 6, at home. Born in Hoboken, he moved to Old Bridge in 1961 and resided there until relocating to Brick in 1999. He also resided in Green Acres, Fla., for the winter months. Mr. Henry worked for New Jersey Transit for 36 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of Old Bridge and the Knights of Columbus, Council 4815, where he was a member of the Color Guard. He was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Hornes and Anna Contri and a brother, Thomas Henry. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Lillian Henry; two sons, Owen E. and his wife, Donna, of Old Bridge, and Robert Schenk and his wife, Jeannine, of Lake Worth, Fla.; four daughters, Helen Osusky of Netcong, Carolyn Watters of Orlando, Fla., Karen Rusnock and her husband, Matthew, of Monroe, and Susan Tracey and her husband, Daniel, of Jackson; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas The Apostle Church in Old Bridge. Burial was at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Funeral services were conducted by the Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. |
