Reader questions Obama's financial acumen

Our rookie president can't seem to get his numbers straight without the aid of a teleprompter. Now we see a larger one in the rear of the sitting audience. What next? Watching him blabber is like watching a tennis match.

A good example of Obama's manipulation of numbers to fit into his hocus-pocus style of hoodwinking the taxpayer is this: He stated that the deficit would be halved by the end of his first term. Exactly what and how much is he talking about? The numbers keep increasing. What does half of what equal?

Another perfectly good example is how he, Obama, will cut our dependency on foreign oil, by doubling our use of solar and wind energy. This is just blowing smoke, because our use of solar and wind energy is 1 percent now, and he wants to increase or double it, to 2 percent. Big deal. He sounds like a circus midway barker.
