      Two Brick Mem. alumnae making their mark at Georgian Ct.
            LAKEWOOD — Sophomores Daryl Carr and Amy Ramsthaler of Brick anticipated an exciting career on Georgian Court's upstart women's lacrosse team, but nothing like this so quickly. "It's funny, our coach said this is where we'll be in two or three years and people did not believe him, and here we are," said Carr, who plays as a first home.

            BRICK TOWNSHIP — Brick Memorial High School's baseball team returned from Florida energized from its 2-1 showing, but with a revised infield. "We moved some players around in a defensive adjustment because we've made too many errors," coach Rich Bishop said.

      Action starts to heat up
            Clams are the key to success in the Raritan. Great weather had everyone scrambling to the Raritan Reach in search of trophy bass. Capt. Joe G. landed his first three keepers of the season with bass to 34-¼ inches and released over 17 shorts. Most anglers this past weekend reported plenty of action in the bay with hopes of bigger things to come.

            Brick Township High School shot put standout and discus thrower Lisa Stuto is ready for a big finish before embarking on a college career at Eastern Michigan University. "My throwing is going pretty well," Stuto said.
