      Booster Club parents upset over new coach choice
            Patrick Dowling, who has been named head football coach at Brick Township High School to replace legendary coach Warren Wolf, met with the players on Monday and had to do a hard sell. "I knew there would be some publicity when I put in for it, and if I got it," Dowling said in a recent interview with the Associated Press, "but not the firestorm that developed.

      Stuto comes up a winner; BTHS is 6th in S.C. tourney
            Lisa Stuto won the shot put and was third in the discus, just behind teammate Katie Brunner, as the Brick Township High School girls track and field team placed sixth in the Shore Conference outdoor track and field championships at Neptune High School.
