Have we ever heard of the expression, "extensive health care for senior citizens?" I didn't think so because it's never been explained in the proper text that can be understood by seniors such as myself. This is part of the senate version of the "stimulus" bill that includes provisions for extensive rationing of health care for senior citizens. More ... It seems the nation's broken health care system has finally reached the top of the domestic agenda, and our lawmakers need to tackle the problem in earnest. The mounting problems in health care breed cynicism, stress and even despair. Groups like AARP are fighting to make the system work for everyone. More ... Ihave been reading with great interest about the latest plans in Washington to create universal health care coverage. While I join most in saying that all Americans should have access to quality, affordable health coverage, I remind President Obama and Congress that taxpayers are not an open checkbook and our country is already buried in debt. More ... We would all like less expensive health care! Let's not rush a bill through the House and Senate. Take time to read what you are signing, and have a meaningful debate on the cost, the services and insurance costs. Who will be covered, all U.S. citizens, or will we be responsible for those who did not obey our immigration laws? Will we be covered if we leave the U.S.A.? More ... |
