The Brick Township Chamber of Commerce will host a Business After Hours networking opportunity 5-7 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club, 2 Augusta Blvd., Lakewood. Guests (golfers and non-golfers alike) will have an opportunity to enter a putting contest and will be eligible to win prizes. All guests will also be entered into a drawing for door prizes. There will be a shared resource table for chamber members' promotional materials, and all guests will be entered into a drawing for prizes. The Brick Township Chamber of Commerce is offering its members a ballroom dancing class Aug. 18 at Shore Ballroom Studio, 632 Route 88, Point Pleasant. Attendees will learn introductory steps to dances such as the salsa, rumba, cha-cha, tango and waltz. The event is just one in the Chamber's SMILE program, which is designed for a smaller group of members to provide them with networking as well as a chance to learn something new.
