Peter J. Alfano Mr. Alfano, 87, of Princeton Junction, died Sept. 30, 2009, at home. He resided in North Brunswick prior to relocating to Princeton Junction 15 years ago. He owned and was the bartender at King's Tavern, New Brunswick, for 50 years, retiring in 2000. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose M. Genco Alfano, in 1985. He is survived by a son and daughter-inlaw, Louis and Lynn Alfano of Brick; a daughter and son-in-law, Madelyn and Dr. Bruce Roland of Princeton Junction; three sisters, Madeline Schaivo and Rose Ferriella, both of Long Island, N.Y., and Marie Santostefano of Toms River; three brothers, Joseph Alfano of Boca Raton, Fla., Stephen Alfano of Kentucky, and Theodore Alfano of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick. Entombment followed in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.
