Sports Shorts

The sailing team at Ocean County College (OCC) won the Nittany Lion Open, hosted by Penn State University. The OCC sailors won the A division and the B division of the regatta, the first time this year OCC has won both divisions. Tyler Kennedy of Pine Beach and Autumn Hoover of Lanoka Harbor sailed in the A division. Holden Muehleisen of Tuckerton and Bradford Wright of Lavallette skippered in B division, while Emily McCarthy of Brick crewed. For more information, contact 732-255-0348 or occsailing@yahoo.com.
