      George F. Glynn III

      Mr. Glynn, 63, of West Long Branch, died Nov. 2, 2009, at East Orange Veterans Hospital, East Orange. He was employed at Avis Shore Rentals, Matawan. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus in New Haven, Conn. Mr. Glynn is survived by his wife of 23 years, Hazel R. Glynn; six stepchildren and their spouses, Dan Covert, Donald and Erin Covert of Arizona, Kathleen Covert of California, Denise and Tom Heeter of Connecticut, Barbara and James Maletto of West Long Branch, and Terrence and Tammy Covert of Brick; his first wife, Maureen Boesch of Arizona; his children, Timothy and Angela Glynn of Wisconsin, and Richard Glynn, Wendy Hixson and Alyson Glynn of Arizona; a brother, Robert Glynn of Florida; three sisters, Catherine Eastmond of the Navesink section of Middletown, Carol Peters of Middletown, and Cristine Galasso of Brick; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Middletown, followed by burial at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown, Burlington County. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements.
