      Reader questions 'bullet' voting in recent election
            Could all of the voting public here in Brick have been mistaken when they reelected Mayor Steve Acropolis to his second term as our mayor? Could they have missed the proper voting buttons to push? Why did they make such a big mistake? How can they do this to us, and exactly why? Hey, maybe I pushed Steve's button, too. You bet I did!

      Focus on current health programs, not new ones
            Health industry experts say there are 11 million U.S. citizens who are eligible for Medicaid or SCHIP, but are not enrolled. It begs the question: Why is Congress crafting plans to spend billions of taxpayer dollars to design new government programs when people aren't enrolled in the ones they've already created?

            Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for all the wonderful blessings God has bestowed upon us. We can be grateful for our families and friends, food on the table, and gainful employment. We may give thanks throughout the year, but Thanksgiving Day is a time when we all come together to appreciate all that we have.
