      H1N1 vaccination clinics offered in Jan.
            The Ocean County Health Department, located at 175 Sunset Ave., Toms River, will offer injectable and intranasal H1N1 vaccines to Ocean County residents Mondays from 1-3 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1-11 a.m. throughout the month of January.

      Ocean Cty. snowman contest under way
            Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department is conducting a Snowman Photo Contest for snowmen built this winter. Awards will be given for the most original snowman, best traditional snowman and "Just for Kids Under Five." All snowmen must be built this winter season.

            The Department of School Relations at Ocean County College (OCC) is offering a twoday substitute teacher training workshop in January. The course will be offered 3:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 8, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Jan. 9 in Room 017/Library, Main Campus, Toms River. The registration deadline is Jan. 2.
