BTMHS to host canine extravaganza July 11

The Brick Township Memorial High School (BTMHS) Marching Band will host a fundraising event featuring adoptable dogs from the Jersey Shore Animal Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 11 at the Drum Point Sports Complex, 303 Drum Point Road, Brick.

The event will feature a dog walk, a canine talent contest, a most fabulous dog contest, pet-related vendors and pet-themed raffle baskets.

Dog-walk participants will receive a gourmet all-natural dog treat as well as a Marching Mustangs green and gold ribbon. Talent and most fabulous dog winners will receive pet-themed prizes. The talent contest requires advance registration at $5 per dog. Donations of dog, puppy, cat and kitten food would be appreciated. For more information, contact 732-567-5232.
