           As of the last week of January, Greater Media Newspapers will discontinue publication of the Brick Township Bulletin. Greater Media Newspapers will also cease publication of the Woodbridge Sentinel in Middlesex County.

           If Gov. Jon Corzine is still wondering why he lost his bid for a second term, he need look no further than his decision to close and raze Camden’s Riverfront State Prison. The decision is yet another glaring example of Trenton’s absolute disregard for taxpayers, as it is a stark and blatant waste of their hard-earned money.

      Poison information, education system needs protection
           “Never look a gift horse in the mouth,” but that is exactly what the state of New Jersey has recently done by cutting funds to the New Jersey Poison Information and Education System (NJPIES), and potentially foregoing federal funds of over $150,000. The federal funds come with strings attached and cannot be accessed without the state commitment of dollars.
